Comparison Toolset#

The Comparison Toolset is designed to identify differences between versions of NG911 data, whether at the feature class or geodatabase level. These tools assist GIS professionals in tracking changes, verifying updates, and maintaining data integrity across versions.

Compare NG911 Feature Classes#

This tool compares two feature classes and reports any differences between them, helping users verify updates or detect unintended edits.

Usage#

  1. Select the NG911 geodatabases that contain the feature classes to compare.

  2. Specify which feature class should be selected from the geodatabases.

  3. To only consider features marked for submission, select Respect Submit.

  4. To export the result table to the first geodatabase, select Export Results to Geodatabase 1

  5. Click Run to execute the tool.

Compare NG911 Geodatabases#

This tool compares entire geodatabases, identifying differences between user-specified versions to ensure consistency and compliance.

Usage#

  1. Select the NG911 geodatabases whose contents are to be compared.

  2. To only consider features marked for submission, select Respect Submit.
